Role overview

This is a seasonal opportunity to help assemble attractive Christmas hampers for the festive period. The work is based in the dispatch and delivery area and involves recreating a range of hamper designs with accuracy and care.

What you will do

You will put together food and wine gift hampers using products sourced from New Zealand and overseas. The role is hands-on and fast paced, with responsibility for producing large volumes of hampers alongside one other team member. Output may reach 1,000+ hampers.

What will help you succeed

The position suits someone who enjoys working with premium products, has a sharp eye for detail, and can arrange items neatly and consistently. You should be comfortable working methodically, staying calm under pressure, meeting deadlines, and taking initiative when working on your own.

Schedule and contract details

This is a fixed-term assignment ending on 6 November 2026. One team member is expected to begin on Monday 24 August, and the other on Monday 31 August. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm. Only candidates who are available for these dates and hours should apply.

Selection process

Interviews may begin while applications are still being received, so the role could close before the advertised end date. As part of the interview, shortlisted candidates will be asked to make and wrap a hamper.

Work eligibility

Applicants must already have the legal right to work in New Zealand.

Additional information

No prior hamper-making experience is required, although it would be an advantage. Full training will be provided.
