Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Financial Reporting Accountant to join a dynamic finance team. This role is ideal for a meticulous finance expert passionate about numbers, guaranteeing reporting precision, and enhancing financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and prepare precise accounting documentation and financial statements in compliance with organizational protocols and standards.
- Assist in fulfilling monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reporting duties with accurate and prompt data.
- Examine financial records and reconciliations to detect and correct inconsistencies.
- Work jointly with finance personnel and other departments to meet reporting necessities and resolve accounting queries.
- Support the refinement and development of reporting procedures, internal controls, and guidelines.
- Engage in ongoing improvement efforts to boost process efficiency, accuracy, and regulatory adherence.
- Guarantee the reliability and consistency of financial data within reporting platforms.
Candidate Profile
- Audit qualification preferred with around five years post-qualification experience, ideally within financial services such as investment management.
- Prior roles in accounting, financial reporting, or comparable finance positions.
- Deep knowledge of accounting standards, financial governance, and reporting workflows.
- Exceptional detail orientation accompanied by strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Experienced in managing extensive financial datasets with precision.
- Proficient problem solver capable of pinpointing and recommending enhancements.
- Strong communicator with aptitude for managing stakeholders and collaborating across teams.
- Familiarity with accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities is an asset.
