Role overview
Coty is hiring a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join its Finance organization in Montreal or Toronto. This position reports to the Finance Manager and supports business performance through budgeting, forecasting, planning, and financial analysis. The role suits someone with 2 to 5 years of relevant experience who enjoys working with cross-functional partners to support better decision-making.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning cycles.
- Draft monthly financial reporting packs and analyze deviations against budget, forecast, and the previous year.
- Review revenue, margin, cost, and operating expense trends to surface risks and growth opportunities.
- Create and update financial models used for business planning and scenario analysis.
- Work with commercial, operations, and other functional teams to understand what drives performance.
- Prepare leadership-ready dashboards, presentations, and financial summaries.
- Handle special analyses and other ad hoc finance projects as needed.
- Validate and reconcile financial data to maintain accuracy and data integrity.
- Help improve FP&A processes, reporting, and tools over time.
