Role Overview
Tiffany & Co. is looking for a driven Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to strengthen its finance function in the United Arab Emirates. This position supports key business decisions through budgeting, forecasting, and detailed financial analysis.
The ideal candidate will bring a solid grasp of retail performance metrics, an interest in the luxury sector, and a strong analytical approach. Reporting to the FP&A Manager, this role works closely with regional business leaders and teams across Marketing, HR, Supply Chain, Retail, Merchandising, and Store Planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Review retail performance on a weekly and monthly basis in partnership with retail leadership.
- Assist in building annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
- Perform monthly profit and loss reviews and highlight risks, opportunities, and deviations from budget.
- Work with HR to analyse payroll-related expenses and provide clear explanations.
- Prepare, monitor, and reconcile accruals to support budget alignment and accounting accuracy.
- Gather, track, and analyse major business cost drivers.
- Own the marketing cost tracker and coordinate updates with relevant stakeholders.
- Help set monthly sales targets across regions.
- Accurately calculate and process retail commission plans within required timelines.
- Support capital expenditure tracking with the Store Planning team.
- Carry out regular store visits to verify financial compliance and operational alignment.
- Assist the Finance Director with special projects and strategic work as needed.
- Maintain finance policies and procedures in written form to improve control and governance.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a closely related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in retail and/or luxury settings.
- Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and organisational abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Comfortable working effectively in a fast-moving and changing environment.
- Proven involvement in process improvement or automation initiatives.
- Preferred background includes JD Edwards.
- Exposure to Hyperion or comparable planning tools is an advantage.
- Programming or database knowledge such as SQL, VBA, or similar tools is preferred.
- Experience with Power BI or other data visualisation platforms is an advantage.
