Financial Data Analyst (QuickBooks Online & OmniChat Expert) - Remote Contract

Role Overview

This is a contract position for a Financial Data Analyst specializing in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and omnichannel chat support. The role is fully remote with an 8-week duration, requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week, including at least 4 hours overlapping with Pacific Standard Time (PST).

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver omnichannel chat assistance to small and medium-sized business (SMB) owners.
• Address both general inquiries and intricate, data-intensive accounting questions.
• Offer bookkeeping and financial advisory support utilizing QuickBooks Online.
• Analyze financial data accurately to provide insightful, actionable answers.
• Complete assigned tasks based on PowerPoint presentations or structured workflows.
• Ensure strict compliance with data privacy, confidentiality protocols, and client confidentiality standards.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Active and proficient user of QuickBooks Online.
• Demonstrated background in accounting or bookkeeping roles.
• Experience handling omnichannel chat support.
• Solid grasp of financial principles and capability in data analysis.
• Skill in tackling complex, data-centric accounting inquiries.
• Prior engagement with SMB clientele is preferred.
• Availability to work 40 hours weekly with a minimum 4-hour overlap with PST hours.

Preferred Skills and Attributes

• Experience as an SMB owner with direct accounting experience.
• Previous participation as a finance or accounting domain expert.
• Ability to manage a high volume of complex, data-driven queries effectively.

Additional Information

• Compensation is set at $34 per hour.
