Role Overview
This position involves leading the Financial Crime Investigations team to ensure thorough, timely investigations concerning transaction monitoring, complex financial crime cases, and high-risk customer activities. Collaborating across departments, you will contribute to shaping TSB’s financial crime strategy, fostering a culture of accountability, ongoing development, and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage investigations, due diligence processes, and decision-making.
- Deliver accurate and timely results with a "right-first-time" approach.
- Maintain a robust risk management and control framework.
- Promote continual process improvements within financial crime investigations.
- Stay informed on emerging financial crime risks and trends.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of five years’ experience in financial services focused on financial crime operations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of AML/CFT laws, transaction monitoring systems, sanctions regulations, and financial crime typologies.
- Ability to make informed, risk-based decisions and accept responsibility for outcomes.
- Advanced CAMS or KYC certification is preferred.
