Financial Analyst - Real Estate Financing Affairs

About the Role

This position supports financial reporting, budget oversight, forecasting, reconciliations, and data accuracy validation specifically for Real Estate Financing Affairs. Reporting to the Senior Manager - Financial Management, the role focuses on delivering precise financial information, managing regular reporting obligations, and coordinating financial and system-related follow-ups.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the formulation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports, while monitoring budget spending and identifying deviations for review.
• Carry out variance analysis and prepare relevant financial schedules and data sets used for reporting purposes.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles, including updates to cash flow monitoring and forecast revisions.
• Review financial transactions ensuring compliance with policies, prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and manage documentation for month-end and year-end closures.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and assist with trial balance and financial statement preparation.
• Liaise with IT and systems support to ensure correctness of financial dashboards and reports, address data issues, and assist in system enhancements testing.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders such as banks; assist auditors by providing required documentation and responding to financial inquiries.

Experience and Education

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
• At least three years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, budgeting, financial planning & analysis, or reporting.
• Preferred exposure to financial systems, ERP reporting frameworks, or dashboard data validation processes.
