Its portfolio supports the movement and storage of energy, water, freight, passengers, and data across North and South America, Europe, and the Asia Pacific region.
About the Culture

Role Overview
The Financial Analyst will join the Private Funds Finance and Operations team within the Infrastructure group, supporting fund operations reporting. The role calls for someone who takes initiative, works well in a high-energy environment, communicates effectively, pays close attention to detail, and brings a solid grounding in finance and accounting.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine quarterly investor reporting and related financial materials, including US GAAP financial statements and fund and investment performance metrics.
- Validate NAV packages and supporting workpapers prepared by outside fund administrators to confirm completeness and accuracy.
- Oversee fund capital activity, cash/liquidity planning, and forecasting, while handling investor questions and compliance-related matters.
- Draft quarterly summaries of significant transactions for senior leadership.
- Coordinate with external service providers to ensure investor information is accurate and delivered on schedule.
- Review supporting documentation for investor K-1s and Canadian tax trial balances.
- Prepare materials for internal and external audits and maintain the necessary control records.
- Develop a strong understanding of the funds’ legal structures and how they affect cash flows and consolidation.
- Support the analysis of complex accounting matters as they arise.
- Help improve processes by spotting inefficiencies in reporting workflows and introducing scalable solutions that improve accuracy, speed, and productivity.
- Assist with the rollout of AI-enabled tools and automation in fund operations, including solutions for data extraction, report creation, and variance analysis.
- Take on special assignments and ad hoc requests as needed.
Requirements
- A university degree is required; a background in business or accounting is considered an advantage.
- Progress toward a CPA or CA designation is expected.
- At least 1 year of progressive experience in finance and/or accounting.
- Experience in private funds, investment management, or complex ownership structures would be beneficial.
- Proven involvement in process improvement work such as shortening reporting cycles, automating reconciliations, or strengthening internal controls.
- Comfort using AI and automation tools in finance, such as AI-assisted data extraction, robotic process automation, or BI/analytics platforms; hands-on implementation experience is a strong plus.
- Shown leadership qualities and a proactive approach.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Motivated by team success and shared outcomes.
- Ability to thrive in a complex, fast-moving environment and adapt quickly to shifting priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, along with strong interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized, able to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- Strong financial systems capability, including advanced Excel skills.
- Self-driven and proactive in managing workload and professional development.
