Role Overview

The Financial Analyst will support daily analytical operations across SeaWorld Entertainment (SEA), collaborating with various management levels at corporate and park locations. The role focuses on delivering critical financial analysis and decision-support to finance and strategy teams for park sites and SEA-wide projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate park pricing strategies and deliver relevant analytical insights.
  • Analyze attendance trends by park location and product categories.
  • Review per capita spending variances for admissions and in-park purchases company-wide.
  • Support marketing efforts by providing analytical input on new promotional campaigns and initiatives.
  • Assist in preparing materials for business unit strategy meetings.
  • Conduct financial analysis with attention to macroeconomic and sector-specific trends.
  • Contribute to the development of annual operating budgets and monitor expense variances for corporate departments.
  • Manage special projects and undertake additional assignments as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business discipline is required.
  • Minimum of two years of pertinent business experience, including financial planning, accounting, or business analysis.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders throughout the organization.
  • Excellent communication capabilities, both verbal and written.
  • Proven skills in managing multiple projects simultaneously within a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office applications.
