Job description
Role overview
This position is focused on providing advanced financial analysis guidance for a government organization in Riyadh. The role supports performance measurement, revenue estimation, financial impact assessment, and review of pricing-related studies and strategic initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Advise on financial analysis management, including measuring and monitoring financial performance, determining required revenues for operating companies, reviewing the methods used to calculate them, and assessing the financial and economic effects of certain policies and regulations.
- Contribute expertise to the development of the comprehensive financial model used to estimate revenue requirements.
- Recommend reviews and analyses of reports related to the outputs of revenue requirement calculations.
- Provide advisory support for investment review activities.
- Advise on analyzing the financial impact resulting from the implementation of strategies.
- Support the preparation of detailed summaries covering the financial position and performance indicators for relevant entities.
- Contribute to studies and analyses related to pricing structures, including estimating deficits and evaluating the budgetary financial implications.
- Advise on the preparation and review of committee meeting minutes.
- Support coordination with related entities and committees.
- Prepare periodic reports on the department’s activities, achievements, and suggestions for improving performance.
- Comply with work regulations, professional conduct requirements, cybersecurity policies, and the procedures applicable to the organizational unit.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management within the scope of the role.
Education and certifications
A bachelor’s degree in Finance or a closely related field is required. A master’s degree in Finance or a related discipline is preferred.
Professional certifications that are preferred or relevant to the role include Project Management Professional (PMP), Risk Management Professional (RMP), Prosci Change Management, Certified in Financial Modeling (CIFM), Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA), and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Experience
At least 6 years of experience in the same field is required.
