About the Role
Our client is a prominent leader in the industrial sector with a strong presence in the Irish market, currently expanding their finance team due to significant growth. This role is ideal for a newly qualified accountant looking to join a dynamic finance team and gain exposure to diverse financial responsibilities within a growing organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile and present monthly management accounts and financial reports for senior management review.
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Manage daily finance operations maintaining robust financial controls.
- Partner with various departments to aid commercial decision-making processes.
- Perform cost analysis and identify areas for process enhancement.
- Support banking compliance, cash flow projections, and financial evaluations.
- Participate in continuous finance improvement projects and transformation initiatives.
- Engage in ad hoc commercial and strategic projects within the finance function.
Candidate Profile
- Recently qualified accountant with 0-2 years post-qualification experience.
- Background from Big 4 or Top 10 firms preferred, especially those currently in audit senior, assistant manager, or financial accountant roles within large organisations or PLCs.
- Strong academic achievements and commercial acumen.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a proactive approach to business challenges.
Additional Information
The position reports directly to the Group Financial Controller, providing structured mentoring and clear career progression. Salary is dependent on experience and commensurate with qualifications.
