Role Overview

If you have a strong affinity for numbers and are known for working in a structured and precise manner, you could become an essential part of our team helping to drive our growth. As a Financial Accountant, you will be accountable for ongoing accounting tasks and maintaining reliable financial data. Giving preference to candidates with some experience or interest in Data Analytics and/or Controlling, the position is initially offered as a fixed-term contract of 18 months, available either full-time or part-time.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitoring, entering, and posting incoming and outgoing invoices using CRM and DATEV systems
• Managing and recording bank transactions
• Handling payment processing and overseeing dunning procedures
• Performing creditor and debtor accounting duties
• Contributing actively to monthly and annual financial closings
• Developing and improving automation within accounting workflows
• Serving as a key contact for internal departments and external partners regarding accounting questions

Qualifications

• Completed commercial training or degree in business administration
• At least 2 to 3 years of professional experience in accounting, controlling, or data analysis
• Strong expertise in accounting and financial reporting
• Excellent proficiency in MS Excel, including pivot tables and advanced formulas
• Basic knowledge of database queries, with SQL skills considered an advantage
• Business-fluent German (minimum B2 level) and good English skills

Additional Advantages

• Experience with DATEV and/or CRM platforms such as MS Dynamics 365
• Involvement in controlling tasks, especially liquidity planning and budget forecasting
• Participation in preparing the annual financial plan
• Familiarity with data modeling tools, ideally Microsoft Power BI
• Maintenance and presentation of up-to-date KPIs
