Financial Accountant

Role Overview

Al Jubairi Law Firm is looking for a Financial Accountant to oversee day-to-day accounting activities, strengthen financial accuracy, and contribute to reliable reporting in a professional office setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter routine accounting transactions and maintain up-to-date financial records.
• Track income and spending, then compile regular financial summaries.
• Carry out bank reconciliations and ensure ledger balances align correctly.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and payable obligations.
• Keep financial documentation well-organized and compliant with internal procedures.
• Assist with the preparation of budgets and financial statements for management review.
• Contribute to both internal and external audit activities.
• Prepare aging schedules and support follow-up on collections.
• Apply financial policies consistently and help reinforce internal controls.
• Manage VAT-related compliance tasks.
• Work with profit and loss reporting, including cost and profit centres.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience is needed.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and accounting software is expected.
• Excellent attention to detail and solid analytical ability are essential.
• Professional fluency in English is required.
• Saudi nationals are preferred for this position.
• Experience with P&L reporting and cost/profit centre handling is required.
