Role Overview
We are on the lookout for a strategic and results-oriented Finance Manager or Finance Director to spearhead our financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and enhance business performance efforts. This pivotal position entails managing financial operations, ensuring adherence to regulations, boosting financial outcomes, and offering strategic insights that foster organizational growth and long-range decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct financial planning, budget management, forecasting, and formulate long-term business strategies.
- Supervise the generation of precise financial statements, management reports, and executive-level dashboards.
- Conduct evaluations of financial results and recommend strategies to heighten profitability, efficiency, and resource use.
- Create and maintain financial models, forecasts, and performance indicators to facilitate strategic decision-making.
- Oversee cash flow, liquidity, capital distribution, and general financial status.
- Guarantee compliance with accounting norms, financial laws, tax obligations, and internal control standards.
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities.
- Identify financial risks and devise comprehensive risk management and mitigation plans.
- Support business plans, investment analyses, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate finance projects.
- Work closely with executive leadership and various teams to align financial aims with business targets.
- Coordinate audit preparations and liaise with both internal and external auditors.
- Develop financial policies, reporting systems, and initiatives for process enhancement.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver actionable insights to drive operational success.
- Enhance financial systems, reporting workflows, and operational efficacy through technology and automation.
- Promote a culture that values financial responsibility, ongoing improvement, and governance excellence.
Qualifications and Skills
- A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a similar field is required.
- Deep knowledge of corporate finance, FP&A, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, cash management, and analyzing business performance.
- Acquaintance with accounting standards, financial compliance, tax laws, and corporate governance.
- Competency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, ERP platforms, and financial reporting software.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills combined with strategic problem-solving capabilities.
- Proven leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder engagement strengths.
- Excellent skills in written and oral communication, including presentations.
- Ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into straightforward business guidance.
- Strong organizational and project management skills that allow juggling of multiple priorities.
- Meticulous attention to detail, accuracy, and dedication to upholding financial integrity.
- Experience leading cross-functional collaborations and supporting business decisions.
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools, data visualization, and financial analytics is a plus.
