Core Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and carry out assigned accounting assignments and projects.
- Oversee accounting SOP audits across all property areas and follow through on required actions.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state rules related to fraud prevention and collection processes.
- Prepare accurate reports, presentations, and other deliverables on time.
- Review information carefully, evaluate outcomes, and select practical solutions to problems.
- Compile, code, classify, calculate, audit, and verify financial data and records.
- Reconcile credit card ledgers and confirm accuracy.
- Check contracts for group business and perform credit reference checks for direct-billed groups when needed.
- Work toward and surpass financial, budgetary, and team goals.
- Set priorities and organize work plans to meet deadlines and objectives.
- Submit reports punctually and ensure all delivery timelines are met.
- Record profits and losses correctly.
- Track applicable taxes to ensure they are current, collected, or accrued as required.
