Role overview
The Good Shepherd Centre Kilkenny is hiring a Finance & Administration Assistant to support the Finance Officer and Finance Manager with day-to-day finance and administrative work for both the Good Shepherd Centre and Kilkenny Voluntary Housing Association.
This position sits within a setting that follows strict governance requirements, financial controls and regulatory standards. The assistant will work alongside the finance team to help ensure these standards are consistently followed.
Core duties
- Carry out work in line with the policy framework of the partner organisations.
- Assist the Finance Officer with the management of debtor and creditor accounts.
- Support wider administrative activity across finance, property management, procurement, and financial reporting.
- Help with compliance-related tasks linked to statutory funders.
Reporting line
Reports to the Finance Manager.
Additional information
All finance and administration activity must be completed in accordance with the organisation’s governance, financial regulations and standards.
