Job overview
Helios Systems Asia is hiring Field Verification Officers to support background verification work across several locations in Singapore. This is a full-time, on-site role focused on field-based checks and telephone-based verification activities. The work covers address confirmation, employment checks, education verification, and other related background screening tasks. The role calls for strong communication, careful attention to detail, and the ability to handle field assignments while staying aligned with verification procedures and compliance standards.
Key responsibilities
- Visit assigned addresses in person to confirm residence details.
- Carry out employment verification by visiting employer premises when needed.
- Coordinate with academic institutions to complete education checks.
- Make telephone verification calls according to the prescribed process.
- Gather and validate documents from the appropriate sources.
- Record verification findings, photos, and other required data in official tools or systems.
- Submit clear and accurate reports and finish assignments within the expected turnaround time.
- Protect the confidentiality of applicant and client information at all times.
- Work toward assigned productivity and quality benchmarks.
- Escalate mismatches, missing details, or other concerns to the operations team.
- Adhere to internal policies, compliance rules, and verification standards.
Requirements
- A graduate degree in any discipline is required.
- Applicants should have 1 to 4 years of experience in field verification, background verification, banking operations, telecom, customer verification, field sales, or a similar field-based function.
- Must be comfortable with frequent site visits and local travel.
- Having a personal vehicle and a valid driving licence will be considered an advantage.
- Should understand document-checking and verification workflows at a basic level.
- Should be comfortable working with mobile apps and digital reporting platforms.
- Local-language communication is important; basic English communication skills are preferred.
- Experience of around 4 years in field verification, BGV, banking, or telecom is preferred.
