Role Summary

We are hiring motivated Field Service Technicians based in Qiddiya City, Saudi Arabia, responsible for providing Level 1 and Level 2 field support for sophisticated cargo scanning systems. This role demands diagnosing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing advanced Cargo X-Ray machinery, alongside aiding Level 3 Field Service Engineers in daily operations.

Primary Duties

• Perform routine and complex maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs of Cargo Vehicle Inspection (CVI) systems, including their mechanical, electrical, and software parts, following guidance from engineers.
• Quickly identify and rectify technical faults to keep CVI systems functional with minimal downtime through both proactive and reactive approaches.
• Communicate technical findings effectively through clear written and verbal reports, escalating unresolved issues to senior engineering teams promptly.
• Support system deployment by assisting installations, configuration, and initial testing phases.
• Maintain thorough documentation by completing daily and weekly service reports, logs, and updating internal databases.
• Strictly observe all relevant safety, customer, and company protocols when onsite.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience in field service or product maintenance and repairs across various equipment types.
• Capability to operate independently in challenging, remote locations.
• Strong teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency with power and hand tools.
• Background in electrical or mechanical disciplines.
• Prior field service experience is beneficial; however, thorough training will be provided.
• IPAF Manlift certification is a plus.
• Arabic language skills are advantageous.
