Position Overview
This opportunity is based in the Riverina region, including towns such as Echuca, Moama, Mulwala, and Albury. Aristocrat Gaming, a global leader in entertainment and gaming software, is searching for several dedicated and motivated Field Service Technicians to be part of their team. Working with us means contributing to the support and maintenance of electronic gaming machines and venue management systems that entertain millions worldwide daily.
Role Responsibilities
- Conduct scheduled maintenance, preventative tasks, and repair work on-site to maintain flawless gaming machine operations.
- Perform installation, removal, system upgrades, modifications, and game updates for gaming equipment, often during off-hours when venues are closed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues as they arise to ensure continuity of service.
- Respond quickly and professionally to service calls, adhering to service level agreements and customer expectations.
- Collaborate with venue personnel to maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
- Accurately document all work activities through field service management tools, ensuring precise data entry of service records, tasks, and inventory usage.
- Manage parts usage and returns complying with company SLA and standards.
- Assist in internal service reporting and address departmental requests.
- Adhere strictly to workplace health and safety policies of both the company and venue, including conducting accident and incident investigations as needed, ensuring all activities comply with legislative and regulatory standards.
Candidate Profile
- Must hold a valid Australian driver's license.
- Open to entry-level candidates with clear pathways for professional growth.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required state or territory gaming licenses, with company support.
- Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills paired with excellent customer communication.
- Self-driven, capable of independently managing multiple customer sites and schedules.
- Proficient with mobile technology and field reporting applications.
- Availability to work weekends and public holidays if required.
- Preferred candidates may have experience in technical field services, gaming industry, or electronics/mechanical repairs, familiarity with diagnostic tools, maintenance scheduling, and compliance environments.
Physical Requirements
- Capability to safely lift or move equipment weighing up to 25kg, using proper manual handling techniques.
- Comfortable working in variable physical settings, including standing for long periods and performing tasks that require bending, squatting, and reaching overhead.
- Ability to utilize safety steps and maneuver in diverse workplace environments.
