About the Job
We are searching for a dedicated Field Service Technician to join our team based in Kewdale, Western Australia, to service the Perth metro region on a full-time, permanent basis. This role involves hands-on technical work, requiring the ability to troubleshoot and repair various beverage dispensing equipment while delivering excellent customer service.
Selected candidates will receive a company vehicle for daily travel to customer locations. The equipment you'll engage with includes glass door merchandisers, air curtain coolers, fountain dispensers, vending machines, frozen beverage units, and coffee machines.
The position operates on a rotating 7-day roster that involves weekend shifts and participation in an on-call schedule to support client operational needs, ensuring each day presents new challenges and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in regular safety toolbox meetings and promote a strong culture of workplace safety.
- Install, maintain, and repair beverage dispensing equipment at varied customer sites efficiently.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical, refrigeration, electrical, and software-related faults.
- Provide technical support and customer training for operational equipment use.
- Accurately maintain service records, reports, and documentation.
- Comply strictly with occupational health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Participate in periodic workplace inspections and audits.
- Manage service parts inventory and use tools responsibly.
- Travel as needed to multiple customer sites, sometimes on short notice.
- Communicate professionally with customers to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Stay informed of advancements in beverage equipment technologies.
Candidate Profile
- Trade qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Refrigeration disciplines.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Previous experience in field service, maintenance, or customer-interfacing roles.
- Passionate about hands-on problem solving in fast-paced environments.
- Committed to delivering superior customer service and fostering positive client relations.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and remain organized while in the field.
- Demonstrates a robust commitment to safety, quality, and continuous process improvements.
