Overview
E3 Company delivers essential safety and automated pressure control solutions to demanding energy sector worksites. The Field Service Specialist plays a vital role in maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of mechanical and electrical equipment within industrial settings. Expertise is required in hydraulics, power transmission, electronics, and machine control systems to guarantee equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, service, and fix hydraulic systems ensuring proper function.
- Identify and solve pressure and flow issues within fluid power machinery.
- Maintain and repair valves, actuators, mechanical couplings, and pressure-heavy components.
- Employ AC/DC electrical concepts in practical maintenance tasks.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical circuits and system malfunctions.
- Operate and troubleshoot PLCs, various sensors, and electronic devices.
- Keep maintenance on schedule following standard procedures to extend equipment lifespan and prevent breakdowns.
- Interpret assembly plans, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately.
- Ensure all tools and supplies required for tasks are in good working order.
- Safely rig and transport equipment using proper lifting methods and tools.
Desired Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related disciplines.
- Valid driving license with capability to tow a tandem axle trailer.
- Relevant practical field experience preferred, especially in hydraulics and electrical systems.
- Knowledgeable in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Willingness to travel and stay overnight as job duties require.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate reliability, initiative, and professionalism.
- Safety certifications such as OSHA or NEBOSH are advantageous.
- Fluency in English along with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Physical Requirements
- Capable of lifting 32 kg to a height of at least one meter.
