Role Overview

As a Field Service Technician/Professional, you will blend technical expertise with sales opportunities. Representing Vivint, you will install state-of-the-art smart home technology while identifying opportunities to sell enhanced solutions to provide customers comprehensive security and peace of mind. Daily Activities

• Perform installations, servicing, and troubleshooting on security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems with technical excellence.
• Conduct on-site evaluations of customer homes to recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements.
• Educate homeowners on operating their new systems effectively to protect their families.
• Engage in continuous coaching and leadership development to progress within the organization.

Qualifications

• A sales-oriented mindset, with experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service-based sales considered advantageous.
• Strong customer-focused attitude demonstrating integrity and ability to build rapport with a diverse customer base.
• Technical aptitude is preferred, with backgrounds in cable/satellite installation, pest control, construction, or solar considered beneficial but not required.
• A valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass background checks and licensing requirements as mandated by law.

Physical Demands

• Capability to lift and carry weights up to 45 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders up to 14 feet while carrying tools, supporting weight capacities up to 375 pounds on company-approved ladders, and work in confined spaces such as attics.
• Comfortable performing physical activities including bending, kneeling, and standing for prolonged periods.
