Field Sales Representative, Army - Northeast

About the Role

NOBLE supports national defense readiness with a global presence and extensive contract vehicles, delivering top-tier products, services, and logistics within the Defense and Government Services sector. The Field Sales Representative for Army accounts in the Northeast region will engage customers by offering mission-critical products and procurement solutions to address their operational challenges. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with government agencies and end-users, managing sales opportunities, and executing sales strategies developed with leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Surpass quarterly and annual revenue and profit targets
• Forge and sustain relationships with customers and vendors within assigned territories and explore new markets as necessary
• Manage and report weekly pipelines—including sales opportunities, quotations, and orders
• Develop customer requirements for bids and contract proposals of equipment and services offered by the company
• Travel to client sites, attend trade events, symposiums, and vendor ride-alongs to foster sales prospects
• Gather and communicate market intelligence including competitor and customer insights
• Provide price quotations, and establish contract terms such as credit, warranties, and delivery schedules
• Utilize CRM and ERP systems to process quotes and orders effectively
• Support inside sales team with data entry and identify funding opportunities
• Recommend suitable products aligned with customer needs and preferences
• Complete administrative tasks including sales reports, records, and timely expense filing
• Collaborate on product development and improvement initiatives with customer professionals
• Accurately process received quotations through various communication channels
• Formulate and execute marketing strategies to generate leads within current regions
• Implement integrated inside/outside sales team approaches and manage vendor relations
• Maintain regular communication with management, partners, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Assume full ownership of the customer sales lifecycle
• Maintain organized scheduling including client meetings, travel, and sales pipeline tracking

Qualifications

• Understanding of government sales processes and federal contracting
• Experience interfacing with Department of Defense, military, federal agencies, and law enforcement clients
• Competent in meeting deadlines independently
• Strong negotiation and communication capabilities
• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to obtain security clearance if necessary
• Bachelor's degree with three years of sales experience or five years relevant industry experience in lieu of degree
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Salesforce, internet research; familiarity with NetSuite or other ERP software advantageous

• Typical office setting for administrative functions
• Customer site visits in diverse environments and remote work from home office for administration
