Field Sales Executive

Role overview

Hillman Engineering Company is looking for a field sales professional to promote and sell air compressor solutions to both current and prospective customers in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

What you will do

• Reach out to existing and potential customers to present air compressor products and convert interest into sales.
• Strengthen client relationships through frequent on-ground visits and consistent follow-up.
• Identify new prospects by making cold calls and pursuing leads proactively.
• Work toward closing deals and securing purchase orders from customers.
• Coordinate with internal departments so orders are processed and delivered without issues.
• Keep CRM data updated and accurate at all times.
• Track competitor movements and broader market changes.
• Follow up on outstanding payments and support timely collection of dues.
• Prepare sales updates, customer observations, and market intelligence reports.
• Contribute to expansion efforts in new markets as guided by the company.

What we are looking for

• Relevant experience of 1 to 10 years in field sales or technical sales.
• Good command of English for communication; knowledge of Kannada and Tamil is preferred.
• Strong ability to communicate, negotiate, and build long-term business relationships.
• A target-oriented approach with strong self-drive and initiative.
• Solid planning, organization, and time management skills.
• Confidence in handling objections and resolving customer concerns.
• Willingness to work in the field and travel as required.
• A valid driving licence is compulsory.

Additional information

Salary is listed at INR 25,000 to 40,000 per month.
