Job description
Role Overview
Eram Talent is looking for seasoned Field Compliance Coordinators to support oil and gas activities in two important focus areas: environmental compliance for gas plants and construction safety. The role is centered on maintaining strong HSE performance, meeting environmental and company requirements, and encouraging a positive safety and environmental mindset across field operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify that field activities follow internal HSE requirements, environmental laws, and relevant industry standards.
- Carry out site inspections, audits, and compliance reviews across gas plant operations and construction work areas.
- Oversee and assist with permit-to-work control, lockout/tagout practices, hazard spotting, risk assessments, and safe execution of work.
- Manage environmental tracking activities such as monitoring, waste handling, spill response, incident review, and follow-up on corrective actions.
- Support the implementation and upkeep of Environmental Management Systems and Safety Management Systems to sustain ongoing compliance.
- Conduct HSE onboarding, toolbox meetings, safety and environmental awareness sessions, and training for contractors.
- Compile compliance documentation, review inspection results, and suggest improvements that strengthen operational performance.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s qualification in Engineering, HSE, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, or a similar discipline from a recognized institution.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience, including no less than 7 years in the oil and gas sector, ideally in gas plants, construction, or large-scale projects.
- Professional credentials such as NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, ISO 14001 Lead Auditor, or an equivalent qualification are preferred.
- Solid understanding of Environmental Management Systems, Safety Management Systems, Process Safety Management, and the applicable HSE regulatory framework.
- Practical experience with field compliance checks, audits, hazard identification, risk evaluation, incident investigations, and corrective action management.
- Exposure to permit-to-work systems, lockout/tagout, environmental monitoring, waste control, emergency response, and contractor compliance oversight.
- Demonstrated ability to design and deliver HSE training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs focused on safety and the environment.

The role is suited to candidates who have worked extensively in operational field environments and can lead compliance and training activities confidently.
