F&B Service Expert

Role overview

As an F&B Service Expert, you will help create a dining experience that feels thoughtful, smooth, and memorable for every guest. The role goes beyond simply serving meals; it focuses on making each interaction part of the overall guest experience through attentive service, coordination, and professional conduct.

Key duties

• Set up tables and service areas according to standards.
• Communicate with the kitchen to support timely and accurate service.
• Interact with guests and provide food and beverage service in a friendly, polished manner.
• Keep work areas, tools, and supplies clean and organized.
• Help ensure that each transaction feels seamless and contributes to the guest experience.
• Carry out other reasonable tasks assigned as needed.

Work standards and physical requirements

This position requires strong attention to safety, policy compliance, quality, and professional presentation. You will need to maintain a professional uniform, appearance, and communication style at all times. The job also involves being active for long periods, including standing, sitting, or walking across uneven or slippery surfaces. You should be comfortable reading menu details visually, and able to handle physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, placing, reaching, bending, twisting, and stooping. Some tasks may involve handling items up to 25 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance.

Preferred profile

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED equivalent, along with less than one year of related work experience. No supervisory background is required, and no license or certification is needed.
