Role Overview
This position is part of the food and beverage service team at The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi Grand Canal. The focus is on creating a polished dining experience that feels memorable, personal, and seamless for every guest. The role goes beyond serving meals; it involves contributing to the overall atmosphere, pace, and quality of service that define a luxury hospitality environment.
Key Duties
The service expert supports guests throughout the dining experience by setting up tables, coordinating with the kitchen, serving food and beverages, and keeping service areas tidy and well supplied. The role requires active engagement with guests so that each transaction feels smooth and part of the overall experience.
Work Standards and Physical Expectations
Success in this position depends on consistently maintaining a safe and organized workplace, adhering to company policies and procedures, protecting quality standards, and presenting a professional appearance and communication style. The job is physically active and may involve standing, walking, or sitting for long periods, moving on sloped, uneven, or slippery surfaces, reading and verifying menu information, and handling tasks that require lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, twisting, and stooping. Items may weigh up to 25 pounds without help and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
Preferred Background
A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred. The role is suitable for someone with less than one year of related work experience and does not require prior supervisory experience or any license or certification.
