F&B Service Expert - Khayal - Marriott Al Forsan

Role Overview

This position is part of the Food & Beverage and Culinary team at Al Forsan International Sports Resort in Abu Dhabi. It is a full-time, on-site, non-management role focused on creating a memorable dining experience through attentive service, seamless coordination, and professional guest interaction.

What You Will Do

The role goes beyond simply serving food and beverages. The service expert helps shape the overall guest experience by taking initiative, supporting table setup, coordinating with the kitchen, engaging with guests, serving meals and drinks, and keeping service areas and supplies tidy.

• Prepare tables and dining areas for service.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to support timely service.
• Interact with guests in a polished, helpful, and professional manner.
• Serve food and beverages as part of an overall hospitality experience.
• Keep workstations, supplies, and service areas clean and organized.
• Carry out other reasonable duties as assigned.

The job involves extended periods of standing, sitting, or walking, including movement across slopes, uneven ground, or slippery surfaces. The role also requires reading menu information carefully and handling physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, placing, and reaching for items. Objects may weigh up to 25 pounds without assistance and up to 50 pounds with assistance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Less than 1 year of relevant work experience.
• No prior supervisory experience required.
• No license or certification needed.
