F&B Service Expert (Hostess)

Role Overview

This position focuses on delivering a polished dining experience for guests, not simply serving meals. The role is about creating memorable moments through attentive food and beverage service, clear communication, and smooth coordination with the kitchen and other team members. Every guest interaction should feel natural, considerate, and part of a well-run hospitality experience.

Key Duties

The Guest Service Expert is expected to take initiative across a range of restaurant service tasks, including preparing tables, interacting with guests, serving food and beverages, sharing information with the kitchen, and maintaining the cleanliness of service areas and equipment. Additional reasonable duties may also be assigned as needed.

Work Standards and Physical Expectations

Success in this role requires a strong focus on safety, consistent adherence to company policies and procedures, and a commitment to quality standards. Professional appearance, grooming, and communication are essential at all times. The work involves extended periods of standing, sitting, or walking, including movement across uneven, sloped, or slippery surfaces. The role also requires handling menus and other information carefully, along with physically active tasks such as lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, twisting, and stooping. Objects handled may weigh up to 25 pounds without assistance and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
