Job description
Role Overview
This position is part of the food and beverage service team at a Marriott luxury property in Doha, supporting the Executive Lounge experience. The role is focused on creating memorable guest moments through attentive, professional, and proactive service.
What You Will Do
- Provide a range of guest service support to ensure dining experiences feel seamless and welcoming.
- Set up tables and maintain service areas to the expected standard.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and communicate guest needs clearly.
- Serve guests and handle food and beverage transactions as part of the overall experience.
- Keep workstations, supplies, and service areas clean and organized.
- Follow safety practices, company procedures, and quality standards at all times.
- Maintain a polished uniform, professional appearance, and courteous communication style.
- Carry out additional reasonable duties assigned by the team or management.
Working Conditions
The job is fully on-site in Doha, Qatar, and requires staying active throughout the shift. The associate must be able to stand, walk, or sit for long periods, move over surfaces that may be sloped, uneven, or slippery, read menu information, and perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, stooping, and reaching. Objects may weigh up to 25 pounds without help and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
Qualifications
Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Prior related work experience of less than 1 year is preferred, and no supervisory background is required. No license or certification is needed.
