Role overview

Join Qatar Duty Free in Doha as part of the front-of-house food and beverage team. This role focuses on supporting restaurant operations, helping the team deliver strong service standards, drive sales, and create a positive guest experience within one of the world’s largest duty-free environments at Hamad International Airport.

Qatar Duty Free is home to more than 90 boutiques and retail outlets, along with over 30 restaurants and cafés spread across more than 40,000 square meters.

What you will do

  • Carry out the outlet’s service sequence consistently so food and beverage standards remain uniform.
  • Welcome guests warmly, stay attentive during their visit, and provide quick, efficient service.
  • Attend all required training sessions to strengthen product knowledge and service quality.
  • Take food and beverage orders professionally and look for suitable chances to increase sales discreetly.
  • Complete mise-en-place tasks before and after service according to standards so presentation matches the outlet’s brand and productivity stays high.
  • Escalate guest complaints or issues promptly and discreetly to the Supervisor or Restaurant Manager so action can be taken and guest satisfaction is protected.

Qualifications

  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic ability.
  • English communication skills suitable for entry-level roles.
  • No previous job-related experience is required.
