About the Role
Marina Bay Sands is looking for an F&B Captain to join the Service Bars on the Gaming Floor. This position is suited to someone who enjoys delivering high-quality guest service, leading by example, and supporting smooth day-to-day restaurant operations.
What You’ll Do
- Welcome guests warmly and guide them to their tables or assigned seating.
- Help the team prepare service areas, arrange tables, and manage equipment correctly.
- Maintain a consistently courteous, attentive, and helpful approach with every guest.
- Answer phone calls professionally, pass on messages accurately, and manage reservation-related queries.
- Direct guests to seating in an organized way and help balance guest distribution across stations.
- Resolve customer questions and concerns in a polite and effective manner.
- Carry out cashiering tasks whenever required.
- Oversee service staff to ensure excellent customer service standards are met.
- Support the Assistant Manager and the department in meeting operational targets and key performance objectives.
What We’re Looking For
- A diploma or degree in hospitality or a related discipline is preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and completion of leadership training are preferred.
- Availability to work rotating shifts, including mornings and afternoons, and to work on public holidays.
