Opportunity Overview

We are inviting passionate print design graduates to join our Textile Departments. This contract role provides an excellent environment to obtain valuable experience within a dynamic and evolving workplace. You will collaborate with the Dunnes Stores Textile Buying and Design teams and gain insights into the complete design cycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in all stages of the design process, from conceptualising and planning new print collections to product selection.
• Compile and analyse design and market research data; prepare and refresh visual range planners on a seasonal basis.
• Support the creation of design documentation as required.
• Carry out administrative duties within the Design teams, including colour matching, archiving fabrics, samples, and artworks, and updating or modifying artworks.

Required Skills and Attributes

• A strong creative vision, originality, and a refined eye for superior design quality.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Comprehensive understanding of repeat print and pattern design techniques.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
