Job description

Company overview

J.A. Uniforms has been creating stylish, durable uniforms since 1997. The company focuses on comfort, contemporary aesthetics, and solutions tailored to hospitality clients. Its in-house design and manufacturing setup supports personalized uniform programs that strengthen brand identity, while the team works with a customer-first mindset built on attentive listening, responsibility, transparency, and integrity.

Role overview

The company is looking for a creative and forward-thinking Fashion Presentation Designer to work in-house. This position centers on producing visually polished look books and catalogs for uniform collections within the hospitality sector. The right candidate will combine design sensibility with technical capability to transform branding ideas into engaging presentation materials.

What you will do

  • Build detailed layouts for look books and catalogs using tools such as Adobe Illustrator.
  • Partner with branding and marketing teams to keep all presentation assets visually aligned.
  • Develop compelling illustrations and visual ideas that clearly express design concepts.
  • Handle several projects at once by setting schedules, organizing priorities, and keeping work structured.
  • Keep up with trends in hospitality aesthetics to shape fresh and relevant design outcomes.

Additional responsibilities and technical expectations

  • Use Excel confidently as part of daily work.
  • Bring at least 1 year of experience in technical apparel design and product development.
  • Be comfortable working with CAD systems such as Lectra, Gerber, Optitex, or TukaTech; familiarity with Lectra is preferred, and a willingness to learn it is important.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of fit, pattern making, grading, fabric behavior, garment construction, and manufacturing workflows.
  • Communicate effectively in English, both in writing and verbally; Spanish fluency is an added advantage.
  • Work with accuracy, a problem-solving mindset, and a strong commitment to high performance.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design is required.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills are needed to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.

Compensation note

This is a paid opportunity.
