Job Overview
The Fashion Designer will be responsible for procuring premium fabrics and materials, collaborating closely with the design team and garment makers, and maintaining rigorous quality control to ensure superior finished apparel delivered to customers. This position requires a background in fashion technology, local travel capability, and adaptability to a dynamic creative workplace.
Primary Duties
- Procure quality fabrics, embroidery, and lining materials from current trusted suppliers.
- Work alongside designers, tailors, and aari workers to manage garment fabrication while adhering to timelines and design requirements.
- Perform detailed quality inspections on completed garments, identifying and correcting imperfections to preserve boutique quality.
Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma or degree in Fashion Technology or an equivalent specialization.
- Possession of a valid Indian driving license with a clean record, comfortable driving two-wheelers locally.
- In-depth understanding of fabric types, embroidery methods, and garment manufacturing procedures.
- Experience with fashion-related software tools is advantageous.
- Readiness to undertake local travel for material sourcing.
