Role overview
BDG is looking for a Fashion Assistant to support the day-to-day running of its fashion closet. This temporary, full-time administrative fellowship centers on handling sample movement, keeping the team calendar organized, and maintaining a well-run closet workflow.
The position is based onsite in New York, NY and requires 40 hours per week for a period of 3 to 6 months.
What you will do
- Coordinate Fashion Week schedules and team calendars alongside the Assistant Market Editor.
- Keep the BDG fashion closet organized and ensure supplies are regularly stocked.
- Track and manage sample transfers from PR teams to the BDG office for each shoot.
- Take the lead on organizing the fashion closet and shoot racks.
- Maintain market team databases and related records.
- Serve as the main contact for office freight, messenger, and courier needs.
- Support fashion shoot preparation, including setup and breakdown.
- Handle freight and messenger coordination for the office.
