Role Overview

We are seeking a commercially focused and trend-savvy Fashion Buyer to develop compelling product ranges that align with the Kaiia customer profile. This role combines intuitive product knowledge with analytical decision-making to deliver successful collections across various categories in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and curate seasonal product lines in line with Kaiia's brand and commercial objectives.
• Spot emerging fashion trends, identify bestselling items, and recognize market opportunities.
• Leverage sales data, customer insights, and market research to guide purchasing decisions.
• Manage product assortment, planning, and option counts to optimize sales and profitability.
• Collaborate with the Design team on new product development reflecting current trends and customer preferences.
• Establish and maintain productive relationships with suppliers to negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and product innovation.
• Track product performance to respond promptly to sales patterns with repeat or discontinuation strategies.
• Work closely with Merchandising to maintain balanced inventory and make informed trading choices.
• Partner with Marketing and Creative teams to support successful product launches and promotional campaigns.
• Participate in supplier meetings, attend trade shows, and visit competitor stores to keep abreast of market trends.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Prior experience as a buyer in the fashion sector, preferably womenswear or fast fashion.
• Strong commercial insight combined with an analytical, data-focused mindset.
• Excellent trend recognition skills and thorough understanding of the Kaiia customer base.
• Proven ability to manage supplier partnerships and negotiate favorable commercial terms.
• Confident in decision-making with strong communication and persuasion skills.
• Highly organized and capable of thriving in a dynamic and fast-moving work environment.
• A passion for fashion alongside meticulous attention to detail.
