Fare Filing and Distribution Specialist

Overview

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is seeking a dedicated professional for the role of Fare Filing and Distribution (FFD). This position operates under a rotational 24/7 shift schedule and involves working extensively with fare filing systems and global distribution systems to support airline fare management.

Key Responsibilities

• Updating and filing fare data within the ATPCO platform using provided information.
• Managing the entry and modification of fare rule conditions such as eligibility criteria, timing, seasonality, flight application, combinations, advance purchase requirements, negotiated fares, surcharges, blackout periods, automated changes and cancellations, fare by rule, footnotes, and routing maps within ATPCO.
• Handling specialized fare filings, including YQ/YR charges, optional and ancillary services, branded fares, and compliance with charts 1 and 2.
• Conducting quality assurance verifications within Global Distribution Systems (GDS) like Amadeus, Galileo, and Sabre.
• Proficiency in pricing fares and resolving issues related to fare entries across multiple GDS platforms.
• Applying sound knowledge of global geography and fare construction techniques.
• Validating fare and rule information for precision, completeness, and consistency.
• Detecting inconsistencies between ATPCO and GDS data regarding fares and rules.
• Keeping abreast of updates and trends related to ATPCO and fare filing industry practices.

Candidate Eligibility

Applicants should at minimum possess graduation-level education.

Additional Information

The role requires flexible availability to accommodate multiple shifts due to its round-the-clock coverage. Candidates will be expected to work on-site in Mumbai, India.
