Job description
Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable Family Education Advisor fluent in Mandarin to join a private family in Singapore. This full-time position can be live-in or involve daily commuting. The primary responsibility is to craft, oversee, and guide educational development plans tailored to children within the family, collaborating closely to accomplish long-term academic and developmental objectives.
Key Duties
- Create customized education and learning strategies for children.
- Track academic progress while liaising with schools, tutors, and extracurricular providers.
- Offer advisory support on parenting approaches, learning habits, and comprehensive child development.
- Suggest appropriate educational materials and after-school activities.
- Work directly with the family to meet overarching education ambitions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, Psychology, Child Development, or a closely related discipline.
- Preferred experience includes family education services, international schooling, private tutoring, or educational consultancy.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
- Fluent in English; Mandarin fluency is considered an asset.
- Deep enthusiasm for fostering children's learning and growth.
