About Tarte Cosmetics
Tarte Cosmetics is a trailblazer in creating cruelty-free, high-performance natural products, standing among the fastest-growing beauty brands in the U.S. Founded nearly 25 years ago by Maureen Kelly, the company emphasizes formulations free of harmful ingredients like parabens and mineral oil, focusing on the finest naturally derived elements. With 85% of products being vegan and a fully vegan skincare line, tarte holds the top spot as the number one concealer brand in the US. The company maintains a global reach with physical presence in over 20 countries and ships to more than 50 countries worldwide.
The brand is deeply committed to social responsibility through initiatives such as clearing numerous teacher wishlists, mentoring emerging leaders via the tartelette U and internship programs, and endorsing small business ventures through the Shape Your Future awards. Additionally, tarte established the non-profit Heart to Tarte, which supports female empowerment, underserved communities, environmental conservation, animal rescue, disaster relief, and wellness programs. Sustainability efforts include responsibly sourcing ingredients, highlighted by its funding an all-female maracuja cooperative in the Rainforest.
