Job description
Role Overview
We are collaborating with a prominent provider specializing in property maintenance and facilities management services to recruit an experienced Operations Manager for their expanding team based in Galway. This role offers a prime opportunity for a commercially focused professional to lead client contract management, guide office and field teams, oversee budgets, and uphold service excellence within a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across several property and facilities management contracts.
- Lead and nurture both office and field personnel to meet and exceed operational goals.
- Establish and sustain robust relationships with clients to ensure top-tier customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate resource allocation, manage scheduling, generate reports, and track operational performance metrics.
- Monitor financial aspects including budgets, invoicing, and overall fiscal health through business management software.
- Prepare comprehensive management reports and facilitate ongoing process enhancements.
- Consistently meet service standards, KPIs, and contractual requirements.
Candidate Requirements
- Between 5 to 10+ years of experience in operations, facilities, property management, or client management roles.
- Demonstrated capability managing client portfolios and overseeing operational budgets.
- Strong leadership qualities with proven expertise in team management.
- Outstanding communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with CAFM/CMMS or service management platforms such as Joblogic or ActiveH, as well as accounting programs like Xero, is highly advantageous.
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced setting while maintaining superior service standards.
Preferred Experience
- Background in facilities or property management sectors.
- Experience working within the Approved Housing Body (AHB) context.
- Proven track record managing multi-million euro contracts from a budgeting perspective.
- Knowledge of customer service or service desk management systems.
