About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Facilitator to join our day service team in Celbridge, Co. Kildare, working 39 hours per week. This role requires a strong commitment to person-centred support for individuals with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand individual needs and priorities, tailoring communication appropriately.
- Provide engaging, patient, and kind support in daily activities including personal care.
- Assist in participation and inclusion in community activities.
- Help individuals develop new skills and support their autonomy and decision-making rights.
- Plan and implement person-centred programmes in line with individual plans.
- Work within a rota system covering various shifts.
- Operate service vehicles safely with a manual full driver's licence.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess a full QQI Level 5 major award in Health or Care.
- Demonstrate understanding of the Key Worker/Support Worker roles and philosophies supporting people with complex needs.
- Skilled in person-centred programme planning.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication abilities.
- Hold a valid, clean manual driving licence and be comfortable driving service vehicles.
- Must have permission to work in Ireland.
