Join the Leipzig/Halle and Dresden airports, serving over three million passengers annually across Europe, Africa, and Asia, and handling about 1.4 million tons of freight yearly. Responsibilities
- Manage procurement for the IT and communication technology category by securing quality goods and services while shaping cost-effective and sustainable purchasing strategies.
- Drive strategy development for the product category using strong process and methodological expertise; implement and monitor these strategies through targeted actions while handling communication and documentation.
- Contribute actively to supplier management and to expanding and enhancing the supplier portfolio.
- Oversee procurement activities for the IT/communication sector, including handling above-threshold and below-threshold purchasing processes, managing orders to ensure timely delivery, and conducting claims and quality control management.
- Collaborate closely with various departments and affiliated corporate entities, supporting team development and digital transformation of procurement workflows.
Candidate Profile
- Completed higher education degree in a technical or business-related field.
- Additional product group-specific qualifications and demonstrable current expertise applicable to complex tasks; fluency in English, both spoken and written.
- Familiarity with standard strategic procurement tools and methods; knowledge of above- and below-threshold awarding procedures (according to VgV/SektVO).
- Team-oriented, with reliable, independent work habits and a commitment to shared objectives.
- Customer-focused, adaptable, resilient, and possessing entrepreneurial thinking.
- Proficient in common MS Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.) and SAP MM system.
