About the Role

Whitehouse Construction Co Ltd specializes in civil engineering and the production and installation of Property Flood Resilience solutions designed to safeguard homes and businesses from flooding throughout the UK. To meet growing demands, they are inviting applications for the position of Fabricator / Trainee Fabricator to join their factory team on a permanent, full-time onsite basis in Derby, England.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be committed, dependable, and enthusiastic about acquiring specialized fabrication skills. The role involves hands-on work with comprehensive on-the-job training provided, focusing initially on welding before advancing to other manufacturing stages. The training pathway includes learning accurate measuring, fabrication, assembly, and quality control processes, with an ultimate aim of producing industry-standard flood resilience products.

Forklift truck license.
Experience with quality inspections.
Familiarity with workplace organization concepts such as 5S.
