About the Role
Jebel Ali School is looking for a dedicated ECA & ASA Coordinator to oversee and enhance the school's Extra-Curricular Activities and After School Activities programs. This role demands a proactive individual passionate about supporting student development beyond academics by collaborating with staff, students, parents, and external partners.
The school upholds stringent child protection policies, expecting all employees to commit fully to safeguarding children's welfare through comprehensive background and identity checks, including police and overseas verifications.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage the entire school ECA/ASA program independently.
- Coordinate with Senior Leadership and teaching staff to establish termly ECA schedules.
- Collaborate with the Director of Sport for confirming squad details each term.
- Partner with external providers and the Operations Manager to organize the ASA offerings on a term basis.
- Work alongside the Marketing Department to maintain accurate and current ECA/ASA promotional materials.
- Submit termly ECA/ASA approval requests to KHDA regulatory authorities.
- Administer the school's authorized ECA registration system for seamless activity management.
- Compile and update the parent-directed ECA/ASA handbook.
- Ensure consistent communication of all ECA/ASA-related updates to parents and staff.
- Organize student pickup procedures and ensure these are well communicated to relevant parties.
- Monitor attendance at the start and end of activities, guaranteeing safe registration and collection of all children.
- Oversee after-hours arrangements and staff coverage during ECAs.
- Produce and distribute necessary signage for activities.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to explore and introduce new ASA opportunities regularly.
Who Should Apply
- Applicants ideally possess a bachelor's degree and demonstrate a strong command of written and spoken English.
- At least two years of relevant experience in a similar role is required.
- Proven organizational and communication capabilities are essential.
- Problem-solving skills with an ability to operate independently within a fast-moving and dynamic school setting.
- High levels of resilience and dedication to precise, detail-oriented work.
- Previous exposure to an educational environment is highly desirable.
