Exterior Designer

About the Role

We are seeking an Exterior Designer to join AVATR Global Design Center in Munich as part of a seasoned, international design team. Key Responsibilities

You will shape exterior design directions for automotive projects and contribute from early concept stages through to production development.

• Create original and compelling exterior design proposals for vehicle projects.
• Develop imaginative concepts with a future-focused and highly creative perspective.
• Work in both analog and digital environments, using 2D and 3D tools across concept and production phases.
• Lead assigned projects, help the team deliver strong outputs, and keep work aligned with timing requirements.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders throughout the design development cycle.
• Prepare persuasive visual presentations for senior leadership and other key decision-makers.

Required Profile

The ideal candidate brings deep automotive design experience, strong digital visualization skills, and the ability to think spatially and aesthetically at a high level.

• Advanced capability in 2D and 3D digital design.
• Substantial background in automotive design and development, including both concept and production programs.
• Strong three-dimensional thinking with a sharp eye for proportion, refinement, graphics, and overall form language.
• Ability to turn cultural understanding into distinctive design traits and fresh product identities.
• Proactive, team-oriented attitude and a genuine drive to challenge creative limits.
