Role overview
This is a full-time sales position based in Ludhiana for a knit hosiery fabric business. The work revolves around international and corporate bulk sales for knitted fabric, not garment manufacturing. The role involves handling export enquiries, speaking with clients in a professional manner, and converting bulk fabric orders.
Work schedule and setup
The position follows a day shift from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM and is a fully air-conditioned sitting job.
What the company does
The business is a knit fabric manufacturer from Ludhiana, supplying T-shirt fabrics and other knit blends such as single jersey and cotton spandex. Its customers include buyers in Nepal, the UK, and corporates in Mumbai, especially in Lower Parel. The company works with its own client and importer list, so the candidate will not need to find leads through online search. Fabric samples and swatches are sent from the office to potential buyers, and the goal is to close bulk orders in the range of Rs. 20 lakh and above.
Candidate profile
The employer is looking for someone with strong client-handling ability, polished presentation, and confidence in phone-based communication with corporate or export customers. A background in sales, client relations, counselling, banking, financial services, education institutes, or related customer-facing roles will be helpful. Experience in hosiery, textiles, apparel, garment merchandising, garment design, T-shirts, sweatshirts, lycra, or similar fabric-related work can improve the salary offered.
Requirements
- Strong verbal communication and a professional presence on calls
- Ability to present products clearly to corporate or export buyers
- At least 2 years of work experience
- Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
- Basic video editing ability
- Comfort with computers, spreadsheets, mobile apps, and technology-driven work
- Background in online or offline sales will be beneficial

Training and growth
The selected candidate will receive one month of training to understand the products and company processes. A portfolio of existing clients will also be provided at the start to help build confidence and momentum.
Compensation
The role offers a salary of Rs. 30,000 per month along with a favourable incentive structure. There is also a special incentive plan for bulk orders. This is not a target-pressure job; it is an export sales profile with incentives linked to business closures.
Additional information
The sales focus is on bulk orders in the Rs. 10 lakh to Rs. 30 lakh range for the company. Candidates are expected to be technology-oriented, able to prepare Excel sheets, make and edit videos, and work comfortably with different mobile applications.
