Job description

Company Overview

Australian Country Choice (ACC) is a major Australian, family-owned beef supply chain business with integrated operations across primary processing, further processing, and cold storage. The organisation places a strong emphasis on quality, safety, operational performance, and sustainable expansion.

Role Summary

ACC is hiring an Export Documents Coordinator for its Commercial team in Cannon Hill. The position plays an important part in ensuring export paperwork is completed accurately, meets all compliance obligations, and is finalised end to end so shipments satisfy customer expectations and the importing country’s rules. This helps safeguard ACC’s market access and standing.

What You’ll Do

Reporting to the Export Documentation Supervisor, you will oversee the full export documentation workflow from initial order through to shipment completion. The role involves working closely with customers, internal departments, and outside service providers to make sure documents are correct, compliant, and issued on schedule for both domestic and international freight.

The environment is busy and requires a careful eye, strong compliance awareness, and the ability to juggle several priorities at once.

Key Duties

  • Draft, check, and oversee export paperwork across the entire order-to-shipment cycle
  • Work with customers, internal stakeholders, and external providers to gather and confirm document requirements
  • Make sure all documentation aligns with ACC standards and the rules of the destination country
  • Keep precise records to assist with quality assurance, audits, and accreditation activities
  • Spot and escalate documentation issues that could affect market access, finances, or ACC’s reputation
  • Assist with customer, supplier, and accreditation audits when needed
  • Help maintain a workplace culture focused on safety, animal welfare, and environmental compliance
  • Develop strong collaborative relationships with Sales, Shipping, and other parts of the business

About You

You should be highly organised, accurate, and comfortable working independently in a fast-moving setting. Strong Excel and Microsoft Office capability is essential. Experience in export shipping, documentation, or compliance is highly regarded, and exposure to red meat or other regulated export environments would be an advantage.

You will need excellent data entry accuracy, the ability to work to deadlines, strong written and verbal communication skills, and a professional, dependable approach. A willingness to learn and build expertise in export operations is also important.

Why Join ACC

  • Be part of a well-established Australian agribusiness with a strong reputation
  • Contribute to a critical compliance function that supports international markets
  • Work with a collaborative and encouraging Commercial team
  • Join a values-led, safety-first workplace with long-term career potential

Additional Information

Applicants who are highly organised, detail-oriented, and motivated by export compliance and documentation are encouraged to apply. Only candidates selected for shortlisting will be contacted.
