Job description
About the Role
This position is responsible for managing the entire order to cash (O2C) cycle, encompassing activities from order placement to cash receipt for all products and services offered by the company. The role involves overseeing user management, maintaining master data, and ensuring that the product catalogues are accurately available across Point of Sale (POS), EFICS, and DBSS systems to support sales continuity. It acts as the main touchpoint and primary support for all internal and external stakeholders interacting with the EFICS system, ensuring service quality, business continuity, and customer satisfaction. The Expert Order to Cash specialist reports directly to the Manager of Orders Management & Support.
Key Responsibilities
- Onboard new franchises and business centers within the EFICS platform.
- Manage user accounts nationwide for internal and external customers.
- Maintain and control product catalogues, payment channels, and location data in POS systems.
- Resolve subscriber-related queries via RBS.
- Administer and manage EFICS report servers.
- Produce regular business and management reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis for different business heads across the country.
- Lead delivery of new projects and changes related to product development, standardization, commercial aspects, and sales.
- Handle and resolve operational queries related to EFICS within agreed service level agreements.
- Establish a reliable service operations support function for ad hoc reporting.
- Promote operational excellence by fostering a culture centered on process improvement, service orientation, and team collaboration.
- Ensure compliance and internal controls by conducting quarterly SOX audits and overseeing internal and external audits.
- Manage inventory loading and tagging processes using Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Process tangible and intangible orders efficiently within stipulated turnaround times.
- Oversee APC partner wallet management, including invoicing and receipt handling to ensure timely operations.
- Manage direct debit transactions and coordinate with relevant stakeholders.
- Handle processing and system reversal of bounced cheques.
- Ensure timely and precise monthly financial closing activities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proficient in SQL and PL-SQL for data extraction and analysis.
- Familiarity with relevant ERP systems, RPA tools, and IT certifications is an advantage.
- Understanding of billing and settlement procedures.
- Possess an MBA, ACCA, CA (Intermediate), or equivalent qualification.
- Have 7 to 8 years of experience in the telecommunications industry.
Skills and Competencies
- In-depth knowledge of the Order-to-Cash process and financial accounting principles.
- Experience with ERP and POS systems management.
- Expertise in accounts receivable management, billing, invoicing, and cash application.
- Ability to manage customer and partner relationships effectively.
- Skilled in reconciliation and ensuring revenue assurance.
- Experience with process automation and robotic process automation (RPA).
- Competent in MIS reporting, data analysis, and stakeholder management.
- Drive for process improvement and operational excellence.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficient cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, Power Query, Power Pivot, VBA, and macros.
- Experience in Microsoft Power BI for dashboard creation and data visualization.
- Microsoft PowerPoint expertise for executive presentations and reporting.
- Knowledge of Crystal Reports for report development and troubleshooting.
- Capability in financial reporting and MIS dashboard development.
