Role Overview

Exyte is seeking experienced estimators specialized in electrical, mechanical, and Civil Structural/Architectural (CSA) fields to contribute to projects across Europe under their Data Centers (DTC) Division.

About the Data Centers Division

Exyte's Data Centers Division offers end-to-end services, from design through construction, focusing on efficiency and dependability. The division has a proven track record delivering cutting-edge data center projects worldwide, including hyperscale, colocation, and cloud-computing data centers, utilizing both traditional and modular construction methods.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and assist with estimates for projects.
• Analyze project plans and specifications, ensuring comprehensive scope understanding through collaboration.
• Contribute to estimating database development and benchmarking efforts, working alongside corporate stakeholders to collect pertinent estimating data.
• Engage actively in project and team meetings.
• Evaluate subcontractor and vendor quotations.
• Complete thorough pricing of labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted services.
• Coordinate proposal and construction timelines with the Planning and Scheduling teams.
• Help prepare written execution plans and clarify technical issues.
• Collaborate with proposal sponsors or administrators to assemble all necessary bid submission documents.
• Support project teams during preparation phases.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of five years’ professional experience in relevant construction sectors such as mechanical, electrical, or CSA disciplines.
• Academic degree or higher education in a related field.
• Proven experience in estimating, particularly within the data center industry, is essential.
